Rapid cooling units will be installed close to the fields to safeguard the quality of the products. The Selva Frozen Foods factory in La Merced is currently in the phase of expansion and modernization. One modern IQF freezing tunnel is shipped from Delidor Delicatessen in The Netherlands to Peru for installation and a large amount of equipment is being built in Peru. Delidor Peru functions as a sales intermediary for the products which will include frozen soft fruit such as strawberries, blueberries, raspberries and mango, and frozen specialty vegetables such as broad beans, green beans and asparagus.
